Hey Everyone,
I read often that many people switch to a 'clear liquids' diet and after an attack or painful flairs and gradually start reintroducing food. I've been in pain for about 4 months and getting worse lately. Foods I used to be able to eat I am no longer able to eat. Even watery blended oatmeal doesn't sit well.
My question is this: When you switch to clear fluids, what does that timeline look like. I.e. How long are you on fluids before reintroducing any solid food. After 'clear fluids, what do you start eating next... for now long, etc.
I need to do something to help my pancreas heal to and think this is what I will try next as I am definitely getting worse daily. If you could provide some direction on what works for you to help get out of the cycle, I would greatly appreciate it.

What is a standing lipase order? Also I was reading yesterday, that there are basically 2 types of chronic pancreatitis (I'm sure there are more but generalizing).
In one a person gets semi-regular acute attacks and has to recover from those acute attacks through rest, diet, lifestyle changes etc. The second, a person has long standing chronic pain, doesn't really go away and less frequent acute attacks.
Is this your understanding as well?
