Just wanted to mention that Nestles's co. makes some health products They have a health care nutrition patient assistance program. provides medical nutrition products at no charge to individuals who do not have the financial resources or insurance to enable them to obtain necessary products
some of the products are as follows:

tolerex...my son uses this (tube feed food) easy digestion .. a person can live off of this alone it is so nutritious

yes, you can do it more than once..... (they give you a one year supply for free if you qualify)
this is only if your insurance does not cover it....
mine does not cover tolerex (tube feed) therefore we qualify
there is a portion that your doc needs to fill out as well

yep TX we filled out all of the paper work and one day got a knock on our door from UPS..... tons of boxes of tolerex for my son (one year supply....$7,000 worth) my son was in shock to say the least!!!

Sheila is this just for tube feedings or can you take it by mouth as well? My dr suggested amino acid supplement.

this is generally used for tube feeds, but there are directions on there for oral....my son drinks it oral...Ive also noticed this year 2013 the form is a little different.....wanting to weed out those that dont need it... which brings me to say......Diane....I want to let you know that you are not out of line at all when speaking about those who are drug seekers etc....I can not imagine the inboxes that you must get...due to your being a nurse.....(sometimes I am guilty of flooding your inbox myself :)....but honestly you have always steered us in the right direction....and given many of us answers that we necessary...You are such a valuable asset to this group hun.....and we love you here!!!......uhuuummmm.... yes.... Troy.... you love her!!...you can say that even if your married!! lol....now get that mother ship ready!!

Thank you Sheila .....it meant alot coming from you and let me say this i LOVE inboxes!!! But i dont like inboxes from drug seekers, period. I just want to forwarn others since mentioning this in my posts i know there will be ones that will go to others and others might be nieve to it. So it was a warning...but if you wish to help the drug seeker nothing i can do about it. I tend to ramble when i am in pain...and I will blame it on Troy:) Gawd knows what i would say if i would take the pain med! OMG lasagne cupcakes....how adorable....sorry theres advertisement on food on this website how cruel....anyways what was i saying oh yes before the inner Troy invaded me;p....but seriously I dont like someone being a hippocrit on here in one sentence saying they are being nonjudgmental and then in the other breath being judgmental of me. And now i said my peace:) I love you all! I think of you as my extended family:) And I probably won't vent again because this caused me more stress!
So beam me up scotty! :)
