Thank you so much for finding the humor in this ridiculousness! I should tell you all about the clamworm that got into my bathing suit when I was a kid! We were in Nova Scotia with family and it was QUITE a big deal! I was panicked and no one could figure out why. They made a big tent of towel and I pulled my suit off to find this foot long worm with legs just hanging out!!! EeeK! That was worse than the slug. Almost 40 years later and I still shudder!

In California we just have good old snakes, & scorpions , and you learn very young to shake your clothes & shoes out before you put them back on once they have been laying on the ground..
