I dont think there is any textbook pancreatitis. I think its just one of those things that is different for everyone.If bread helps sooth the pain then eat bread. Do what makes you feel better.
My doctors suggested eating 6 small meals a day instead of 3 large meals. All low fat of course. Some of this helps on a day to day basis. But everyday is different.
I agree that there is no such thing as textbook pancreatitis.
