I tell my doctor I am on the Thanksgiving diet...A little turkey, potato, pureed sweet potato, and boxed stuffing made with water.. Sometimes I change the turkey for fish or chicken, but thats it...
In the morning I just started eating an egg with toast...
But still no other veggies. I tried some baked beets the other day & oh my gosh the pain was awful..Same with a tomato...So no more veggies...
Still on TPN...tried to cut down to 3 days, but doc called & tests came back protein, potassium very low.....oh well I will forge forward...
@Cheryl, I love baked beets ...but I noticed to they are hard on me as well. Canned beets work better...I think cause they are soaking in the juices. But would rather have the fresh stuff.
