ill NEVER eat again

after suffering with CP 4 3years now on a j tube 4 a year ill try to eat once a month it puts me in so much pain its no longer worth it so ive told myself thats the way it is and quite frankly im good with it is anyone out there in this situation i wouldnt mine a opion

I don't have a JTube but, I have gone significantly long periods without eating. When I do start to eat again, it is painful. But I thing, part of the problem is that my stomach has shrunk and my digestive system is trying to start up again. Maybe(if you haven't already tried it) try a clear liquid diet a few days and see if that hurts. Then step up to jello for a few days before trying anything solid. It seems to help me to go very slow.

That's me...it's been months since I've eaten. I have a JG tube now...I have it for about 6 weeks. Prior to that, I was getting TPN via a PICC but an infection necessitated it's removal. So now I'm on enteral feedings.

Eating in the conventional manner put me in agonizing pain and left me with uncontrollable vomiting. No thanks. It's no fun having a tube but it beats the alternative.

This is the way it will be. It's not so bad. I've gained back some of the weight I lost and I feel better. I try to nibble sometimes but I know my limits. Message me if you want to talk.
