Flares and enzymes

Do you have D when you are in flares despite being on enzymes? Enzymes help a lots as I had major issues EVERY day. Now I just have D about once a month for a a few days, thinking its due to a flare or my pancreas being annoyed.

So do enzymes typically help D if you are flaring?

Enzymes help digest food and keep work off the pancreas, that's my understasnding. As for diaherrea, I have a number of bouts monthly as well. Don't ever know what causes them but I take imodium over the counter when they occur and that controls them.
I have low grade pain constantly. I take small doses of pain pills when the pain is intolerable, which is currently. I am going to OSU for MRI on Weds this week to determine if I need a procedure and which one - either an EUS or an ERCP with stend. Prayers appreciated. Praying for everyone here. Hugs. Barb

Last bout was this week and I forgot to take enzymes but ate wrong foods at dinner at a friend's house. Paid dearly. So off today to get my MRI to see if ducts are closed or open.
