I take Creon and it does really help. I haven't had any for a few days and I can't eat without running to the bathroom and the pain gets worse by the hour. So I think enzymes are really important.
My back pain is bad too. It's mostly the left side but goes to the center and it does feel like a bruise. I don't like anything or anyone touching my back. A heating pad helps me.

I notice a direct link to the back pain and eating certain foods. Foods like dairy, high fat foods, junk foods, meat seem to make it hurt more.
Sometimes it makes it feel better if I have someone push on that spot real hard, or have my kids stand on it grinding their heels into that spot in my back. And then other times it is raw to the touch.
