I do know when I go to the infusion center some of the chemo patients have Benadryl before they take their treatments. Have her ask her doctor.
Don't know if the have the medical marijuana law in Florida, but here in California they have it and I personally know of a friend of mine who went through breast cancer twice and used it both times when she went through chemo. She said it helped with the pain and with her appetite. But she still lost 25 lbs. As for what she ate was mainly fresh fruit & vegetables. I would make her vegetable soups, and homemade healthy breads. Nothing with lots of fats, that just seemed to make her stomach upset. Plus lots of rice...

I'll ask her about the laws (she works for the PD so she'll know). Good idea. And she'll be thrilled to lose weight! She's already lost 30 lbs since her surgery. She loves it.
