Its been 5 years since officially diagnosed by a major American hospital.   I take my enzymes like a good little boy and eat low fat and no alchohol.   Over the last few months my fatigue escalated and my pain has increased.  I've never been on pain meds to this point.  I have an annual follow up MRCP Xmas Eve to start the holidays and as usual are very concerned on findings and prognosis.  They confirmed change last year from the previous year and my hope is they find the same or no change at all on the pancrease, ducts front.   I have never felt this bad in 5 years as I've felt in the last few months.  I'm eating baby food, fruit and veggies only and very lean protein.   Emotionally I'm all over the board.  We read on so many sites of CP progressing to PC and my fear again is hightened.  I was diagnosed with CP as part of Sjogren's syndrome which can attack the exocrine glands which the pancreas is.  My follow up appts recently with rhuemi and GI are leaning that this is a progression of the overall disease and the pancreas is just my curse of the focal point of that disease.  The annual holiday / winter doldrums in the northern states are a recurring event with me and my stress level never subsides with all the symptoms and a high stress job.  An endless cycle / yo yo effect which we all hope fighting this condition a "magic cure" is found.  All the best to all of you during this hard to eat holiday season keep up the fight.
