I have had this disease for 4 years now when I first came down withit they wouldn't give me enough pain pills and I suffered big time when I was in the hospital they would give me enough dilauded to last a hour and make me wait 3 hours to get more then the doctors kept trying to take it away this is bullshit if your doctor wont give u enough pain pills to stay out of pain take this advice GET ANOTHER DOCTOR if u truly have CP theres no curethe only fuction he serves is to keep u out of PAIN

I agree with Dave 100 %%%!!!! There is NO cure!! unless they remove your entire pancreas!!! and that is a very tough decision!!!
IF they are concerned about you becoming a drug addict.... then tell them you are concerned about living your life on the couch/in pain/in hospital!!!!! thats my 2 cents..... heeee heeee

Totally agree!! Without pain medication I would be lying in bed with my heating pad. At least with my meds I can function again.

Here's my 2 cents...if this keeps up, we might get to a dime

I was recently hospitalized for pancreantitis last weekend because my lipas was through the roof, pushing 4000. I hated having to ask every three hours for more pain medication especially thoughout the night because they only gave me what seemed to last half an hour. and to make matters worse, all they sent me home with was some stool softeners and Tylenol.

snow bunny that's the same thing they did to me when I first got this get yourself a good primary care physician that gives u what u need I recommend hydromorphone as it is one of the least harmful taken for long peroids of time

dave since everything had started, i had switched my PC doctor because the one i had before knew nothing. Despite what I keep telling all my doctors and sugeons, they keep prescribing me hydrocodone which i hate. the Tylenol seems to have been helping since i was released.

hey snow bunny they tried those drugs on me I was stoned out of my mind and STILL in pain the hydromorphone is the only drug that relieves my pain without getting me high with the shit your taking I was staggering across the parking lot my bro takes MScottin what ever works best for u
