Hi People,
The reason I'm here is because 2 weeks ago I had the worst week of my life, it started a pain that's in the middle of my chest of center to the right a little bit, it hit me in my sleep, lasted for 30 min and went away, all was good until 2 days later it hit me again, in my sleep, lasted for 30min and then gone, went to the doctor and the dr ordered some blood test and breath test and the whole shebang and went home,
3 days later..... the Pain came back in my sleep and stayed, and intensity varried but the pain was peresent, I went to work that day and couldn't make it through the shift so I went home, as I said the pain varied in the intensity, I thought I knew that pain from past experience but this time it was diffrent, it was too much and it's intense the way I described it to the dr was a gripping pain that is not sharp not sudden but lingering in that particular area it's heavy it's like someone took out my heart and put a stone in its place, the pain stayed for 2 days so my partner said if I'm still in pain tommorrow will have to go to ER, made through the night with no sleep, every time I attempt to sleep the pain becomes more intense, in the after noon the pain hit a new worst for me and decided to go to ER, spend 8 hours in the ER while nurses keeping an eye on me, the pain got too much, my eyes were blood red, vomiting bile, devoloping fever and in tears, shaking all over,
nurse gave me paracetomol, which to the edge of the pain for about 30 min then the pain came back worst than before, the nurse gave me endone which hardly made a dint, hardly touched the pain could feel it in my body but not touching the pain, the nurse called the dr when he ran out of options, the dr check me up and decided to take me to short stay,
once in short stay they asked me to rate the pain from 0 to 10 at that time it was 15, and with 3 days with almost no sleep I was in bad condition and the pain is over taken me. the dr said it's better if I get some sleep after establishing my medical history and kindda has an idea on what's going on, he dosed me up on morphine and before I now it the pain and I were fading away, I think I slept for about 6 or 7 hrs to be awaken by the pain coming back, immediatly the dr was there and he gave me some more pain killers, checked me into the hospital and ordered whole heap of tests.
3 days later on the the pain management plan and the dr informed my that what I have is (infllamed gallbladder --- inflammed bile duct---- and panceatitis) according to him he can't remove my gallbladder while I still have my pancreatitis so we have to wait for that to go away,
few days later I had my gallbladder removed and discharged from the hospital with the memories of the most painfull week of my life.
now it's a case of trial and error with food, don't know what i can eat or what i can't. and waiting to see if pancreatitis comes back (hope not)
