I was first diagnosed with acute pancreatitis in 2013. I had a severed attack in 2014 that put me in the hospital for almost a month. Since then I have been recovering with little problems. This last week I have started having yellow/golden frothy stools. Some small amount of pain but it comes and goes. Could this be another attack coming on?

I hate having this, as I have never fully gotten my strength/energy back.

Sounds like it could be. Pancreatitis is so unpredictable or it has been for me. I have chronic pancreatitis, probably genetic from ducts being deformed. I don't feel great, ever. But some days are worse than others. I deal with depression from this condition. The best advice I can give is to find a doctor that specializes in the pancreas. You'll get your answers there. I agree, it could be pancreatitis coming back. Did you get bloodwork done? Also, it might be a kidney problem. Or even liver!

I first got pancreatitis back on Dec 13, 2005 at 1pm from an ERCP (just estimating here. Snicker). Since then I've had countless hospitalizations, surgeries, tests, etc.

AND my liver then kidney decided to join the fun. So now when I get CP, my liver gets inflamed, then my kidney. So much fun in one abdomen!

Sure hope you've been to the doc! Don't delay.

Due to insurance changes, I finally got into the GI doctor I had been seeing. I have been put on Creon to help with digestion. As long as I remember to take it, I do think it is helping. They said to continue watching my fat intake and if I do go into another attack they want me there and not here in town where I live. This way they can see me while the attack is happening. Mine has been diagnosed as idiopathic so they really do not know what caused it.

I am still tired all the time and have no energy but I guess that goes with this. Just wish they could find a cure for it.
