Chronic pancreatitis can present as episodes of acute inflammation in a previously injured pancreas, or as chronic damage with persistent pain or malabsorption. Patients with chronic pancreatitis can present with persistent abdominal pain or steatorrhea, as well as severe nausea. Some patients with chronic pancreatitis often look very sick, while others don't appear to be...
Before I knew it was pancreas related I went to the chiropractor, etc....but over time I was able to draw a correlation with eating.Or you could try eating really low fat for a few days and see if that helps. Sometimes it taks a few days/weeks/months for the inflammation to improve
I also feel very weak in my core and my stomach is very tender to touch. You know how babies kick when they get their diaper changed. Well he kicked my in my stomach and that did not feel good at all. Any time I get bumped in the stomach, it feels so tender.
My trip to England is 9 days away. My stomach is burning a bit more, but then again, I'm not eating as good as I was. Since I don't eat cookies, or cakes, or pizza, I make up for it by eating low fat cereal..but not the good kind...Honey Grahams. I ate 1/2 box on Monday. Had a headache for 2 days and now my stomach burns slightly. Its so hard to stay on track with eating.
I do stay under 50 grahams of fat a day. Can't wait to have my cat scan in 2 months. I really want to know the progress of my psuedocyst and if my pancreas is still inflamed.
I definitely try to be careful with fat as I don't want to end up in the hospital.

but
the pain with a pancreas attack is upper back . it kinda radiates from front to back.
it is very similar to gall bladder attack which does the same but it is worse

Having an attack right now, and just helps me not feel crazy knowing there are others who have the same symptoms I do.
I also have hip/ sciatic pain that is gyno related.
Perhaps see if you have a gyno problem too?
