I believe I have been having symptoms of pancreatitis for years, but it was actually diagnosed as chronic pancreatitis until 11-11-11. I didn't even know what it was! It was hard for me to grasp how serious things were. I just remember having an EUS, and shortly after the procedure the Gastro doctor was talking to me about enzymes. I was barely out from under sedation I was not suppose to be making a decision for at least 24 hrs. So now I am going through this thing called pain management, and it's not going so well. I really don't know what to do, but my last follow up appt I expressed that my abdomen pain had increased so i was put on ms contin 30 mg with Hydrocodon 7.5-325 well I'm still having the same amount of pain, but now I have been put on Lyrica 75 mg. Has anyone else heard of this? This is nerve medication. I am so confused?????
I took it for awhile, and found that it helped me sleep through the night at lot better, but my pain during the day was still as bad as ever...I also had some annoying side effects, like random muscle spasms that would cause my arm or leg to jerk. So, not a drug for me.
Also, just FYI- When I was stopping Lyrica, I read all kinds of horror stories online by people discontinuing the drug, so I was terrified of withdrawal symptoms...but when I stopped unneccessarily worrying oneself by doing excessive online health research!

I guess this is an example of unneccessarily worrying oneself by doing excessive online health research!
