I tried smoking it with friends in high school over 20 years ago and I got contact buzzes from just breathing while in Jamaica, but other then that I have no contact with the plant.
But I am a big supporter of making it legal 100%. I dont want for the money hungry powers that be to have control over it so they can charge sick ppl tons of money. Instead I want it legal for people to be able to grow and use it on their own just as long as they dont use it in front of children or in public.
MaryJane has some great healing agents to it especially when used as a food.

Im ready for the mothership to sail!
About an hour ago I was experiencing mild nausea and pain in my broken foot (yeah, like I needed more to deal with). I sat down and had 2 bags of what I call "philoso-weed" ... my nausea is gone, my anxiety is gone and my mind is zooming, I'm relaxed and best of all wont have any of the nasty side effects of phenergan & dilauded. I never could write or read while on dilauded.
In about an hour I'll have some bed time variety, a munchie snack (ok healthy & low fat, we don't all go for Cheetos) and crash.
I rarely tolerate solid food or can even get it up to my mouth without gagging without having some MMJ 20-30 min prior. I can go from green and gagging to hungry (yes I said it...hungry) I'd almost forgotten what that felt like.
