I had a tubal this morning and all had been going great. Early this evening I had an attack come on. I am thinking the air the pumped into the abdomin has affected my pancreas. It lasted about a half and hour and has eased up some now. Still have pain when I take deep breaths but it seems like I'll be ok. Just makes me mad sometimes that this stupid pancreas affects everything I do. I can still stay pretty active but I don't think I could ever play a game of volleyball or soccer with my son anymore and it shouldn't be that way for a 40 years young mom! I feel angry that it has taken so much from me but I thank the Lord it isn't any worse. My prayers go out to everyone suffering!!!
working good. Worth the weight in gold.
When I am feeling good I try to keep each meal to 10 grams of fat or less and my in between snacks to fat free or less than 2 grams. I eat a lot of cooked vegtables, oatmeal, rice, soups fruit smoothies and whole grains in my pasta and breads. When I eat meat it is a small serving of fish, chicken or turkey. I avoid dairy and use lactose free dairy products when I can find them. My favorite snacks are bananas, apples, angel food cake and hot pretzels.
Unfortunately, this tubal I had Thursday really got my pancreas upset. Right now I am going to try to go 24 hours without food and then start off with some liquids. I hate to call the doctor, I worry they will put me in the hospital again.
