My wife was diagnosed in December 26th. We knew there was no cure and never asked for a time line but she was treated for 6 months with the standard treatment. And once it stopped working they wanted to change the treatment but because of waiting for insurance to approve a new treatment and her labs being off due to waiting because of both the insurance and CoVid BS she went into the hospital on July 12. I watched the medical and after a couple day I finally had to tell them to stop. What was sad is that they never until the end when I said something agreed that they were doing all these procedures for nothing more than a bill. I needed to give her the dignity to pass without anymore invasive procedures. She was put into hospice and was there for three days. What is sad on my part was grieving for 7 months trying to keep a strong front and always smile knowing the outcome. When she passed it almost felt as though I had a weight lifted off. I feel horrible saying that but no one understands the care givers stress unless you go through it. It's been 6 weeks and there are ups and downs and I know up you move on but after 43 years it's a hard thing to do.
