Pancreatic Cancer Support Group
Pancreatic cancer is represented by the growth of a malignant tumour within the small pancreas organ. Each year about 31,000 individuals in the United States are diagnosed with this condition, with more than 60,000 in Europe. Join this community to talk to others who have pancreatic cancer or know someone who has. Get advice and the support you need.
There are several different combinations of chemotherapy that they can use for pancreatic cancer. They usually try what they think will be the most effective with the fewest side effects first. They watch it for a while and will definitely change it if she isn't tolerating it well. So I wouldn't give up hope for a good treatment yet.
All the best to you and your friend for relief from the pain and comfort in her treatment.
Best wishes Linda
I love the picture of your cat he/she looks adorable, I have two cats, can't get enough of them, if they would accept other cats we would have more.
Thank you for your reply, my friend has no appetite either, but she does eat, because she know she has to keep strong for the treatment, just the ant-sickness tablets, really make her very tired, she struggles to keep wake.. Just hope the Chemo works for her, all our fingers are crossed, for all suffering this dreadful disease.
Regards and Best wishes
Linda
