Tell us about your personal experience with 5-FU as a treatment: Has it worked? Have you had any issues? Any recommendations or tips?
My husband had a hard time with 5FU, it was so harsh, and his liver was so full of tumor, that the 5FU basically made a bad situation worse. The doctor that prescribed it was at MD Anderson in Houston, but the hepatologists at Baylor Medical in Dallas said that jason might have had a better chance if he had not taken this therapy. I'm sorry to for the negative info, I know this is an old post, but had to share anyway.
