Hello this is Jarman i'm new to this website and support group. I've had some issues in my life which have left me quite isolated. I do suffer with depression and consider myself to be a shy person. I'm not a freak or anything like that i just find the social side of life hard. I did work with a counsellour for 3 years with helped a bit but still left me feeling quite alone and unsupported. A lot of the time i do like my own company but to much of this is not good. I feel like a time millionaire sometimes to much time with not a lot going on in your life is not a good thing. I think a lot of it comes down to confidence and being understood in some way i guess? Sometimes my outlook of the world is quite bleak, it's hard work to feel like this and sleep can be hard to come by as i have a mind that want's to be active when it's time for bed. It's hard to shut down such a mind. Just wondered what anyone else thought is there anyone else out there who feels like this sometime?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I think everyone likes their own company sometimes heehee :) don't worry your not alone there!
I think a lot of things come down to confidence in life........ which is hard iff you don't have it in your personality! The only thing you can do is accept who you are and try not to worry too much or be too hard on yourself. The nice people out there who are like you will accept you for who you are.
I sometimes get moments when I feel a bit depressed about the outlook of everything....... but no one ever sees it or even thinks I can get depressed coz I'm so happy and jolly in person. I don't really know how to express anything else. Whenever I feel a bit down taking my mind off it is the important thing. I find helping other people is great for that sort of thing or doing something I really enjoy like playing the piano! It helps to talk about someone elses troubles with them when your feeling a bit lost or just loosing myself playing nice music.
Before you go to sleep maybe try and do something relaxing to wind down...... like reading a book, having a bath, drinking a warm cup of milk, or just lying there listening to calming music. That kinda thing :) Works for me!
