WTH have I been up to?

I am struggilng to deal with surges of unrepressing memories like big burps from a toxic volcano in my subconscious, and not doing well at all IMHO. I am tired of remembering the horror show of my childhood. I repressed it for a reason. And it eats into everything---the stress flares the pain flares the stress flares the ....

Other than that, of course, life is all sunshine and daffodils, LOL!

Actually, am off to my therapist soon so.... SOrry I have not been here much either, I had to quit a buncho f member groups, I barely keep up with my main ones.... Yikes.... it's been some winter, hasnt' it?

BTW, NDY, I just figured that like half my fam up in Penna., you were still stuck in a snowbank waiting for spring melt!

HI! I HAVEN'T BEEN ON MUCH LATELY EITHER. BETWEEN MY HUSBAND'S APPOINTMENTS AND BEING TIRED I HAVEN'T BEEN TO MANY OF MY GROUPS. SINCE THE MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS. THEY'VE TAKEN ALL KINDS OF BLOOD WORK AND EVERYTHING CAME BACK NEGATIVE. HE HAS TO HAVE A SCOPE DONE ON MAY 5TH. HOPEFULLY THEY CAN FIND OUT WHAT WAS CAUSING HIS PROBLEMS. WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED.

I was dealing with Sarcoidosis for a while. But in remission now. Thank God. Trying to get my life back in order.

NDY you know I'm always around and still check in from time to time - but yeah, when everyone else stops stopping by with any sort of frequency you do start to think you're just talking to yourself so I slowed down here too, plus I've been trying to keep my own tv/movie/pop culture group going (and if I may say here, anyone and everyone is welcome to check it out and join in if you're interested; here's the link: http://www.dailystrength.org/groups/tv-movies-stars-celebrities-tvmsc ) so that's where a lot of my time on the site goes. If there's more activity over here again, then I'll start spending more time over here again when I can.

Sorry to hear so many folks have been having such a hard go of things the past several months. Sounds like everyone had a pretty brutal winter and not just due to the weather either. Here's hoping for "sunshine and daffodils" (as Leo said) for all of us the rest of the year!

I will certainly forgive you as I have been MIA on here as well. Lots going on w/me and my family so not been able to get on here as much!!! This has been a winter I will never forget believe me!!! Now Spring is here and am so thankful for warmth and sunshine!!

I think we all must have been hibernating during the long cold winter most of us had, Things are going well here for me. The garden is just starting wake up and I am just finishing pulmonary rehab.

been trying ti get the roof on my house replaced, finally it's happening..dealing with depression, and family crap, other than that, just another day..

TESs - Last year, my friend's TV blew & her little kids were miserable, so I gave them mine... Never replaced it & haven't missed it much either cept I am behind times on the News...

NDY, I can't help you much when it comes to the hard-hitting journalism type news, but I do cover entertainment news and celebrity gossip over there if that's any interest to you...

What kind of research are you doing on those government reporting agencies? It's hard to have a thought on it without some further info on what it is you're researching them for.

OK, Y'All, here I go again - Guess I wasn't meant to get ANY sleep tonight...
Anyways, my apartment manager has been making my life hell by sending me threatening letters of eviction and harassing me verbally since she realized that the Bible study I formed over a year ago is not going to go away like so many other social organizations that tried to form so many times before.

We will be celebrating our 62nd meeting this Tuesday, the day after Memorial Day.

She has been doing everything she can to discourage other tenants from attending. She has locked the bathrooms, so that handicapped people with walkers, and those of on water pills, etc., don't want to attend activities on the first floor; she has changed the listing on our building calendar to just the letters of an acronym so newer residents and less forward thinking residents won't realize there IS a meeting taking place, & she has implied because my apartment was found to be cluttered in a surprise 2-day notice of inspection that I am a dirty person & the food that I prepare is therefore questionable. She also took at least two people aside & told them they shouldn't be friends with me because I will take advantage of them & she doesn't "want to see them get hurt". These are good friends of mine but won't serve as legal witnesses for me because they fear eviction.
our meeting attendance has also fallen off because of her intimidation & some of my friends have stopped associating with me entirely. I am sure they fear eviction as well....
