This evening I will be without sin & as close to Jesus for longer than I will ever be again on this Earth as i am Baptized, Confirmed, and initiated into the Catholic Church at which time i will receive my First Holy Communion.
This day that I have prepared for has finally come. Please rejoice with me as I celebrate His Resurrection so that ALL of our sins can be washed away and we can come into His Kingdom... A bit early I know but I doubt if I will have time to get back here until after the solemn Holy Mass that begins at 8;30pm according to the Jewish Sabbat which is recognized by the Catholic Church ...

( Standing behind & beside me, my beautiful Confirmation Sponsor & my Loving Godmother were holding on to my hand & my arm.. One was afraid I would faint & the other who had been with me at healing services, was afraid I would be 'slain in the Spirit' ! And, My dearest Godfather was standing behind as my Protector, as always ! )
After I denounced the Devil and all of his works and pledged my devotion & allegiance to Christ & His Kingdom... I was led to the Baptismal Font off to the side of the sanctuary, where our pastor, Father David, literally poured a small basin of water over my head & baptized me in the name of the Father, The Son, & the Holy Spirit.
( Then a beautiful long, white cloak iwith a zipper neckline was placed over my head & enveloped my body. It was very white, and a soft, heavy cotton with long sleeves and a split-cuff but was softly held at the waist with a velcro-belt at the front of the waist. ( It was not a choiir robe as i had expected but more like the priest wears under his vestments. )
Then,Pastor proceeded with my Confirmation He anointed me with oil, blessed me and prayed that the Holy Spirit descend upon me and my countenance be changed forever to be open to the teachings of Christ and in receiving the Word as well as my temperament be that of love & reflect His greatest teaching to "Love one another". That I would be given the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and my life would become a reflection of presence of the Holy Spirit in my life as evidenced by the Confirmation of the baptism with the Holy Spirit. ( Not the exact words but my paraphrasing ! )
We ( My best friend & i were in this together. ) were then seated back at the front of the church in the first pew... ( It was then that my right fake eyelash floated down into my lap that was dislodged with the en-robing process. I looked over at my friend in her wheelchair who was ' laffin about it ! And, I was very thankful that I hadn't "left it " IN the baptismal font !! ) LOL !!
After After the Host & the Chalice were Blessed, we received the Eucharist at the front of the altar. I was the first in the Communion line to receive the Body of Christ and then to drink the Blood of Christ from the chalice with my friend following right behind me . What a wonderful feeling that pulsed throughout my body. And, I really feel, even though I may slip in my walk with Christ, my life is changed forever !
And, thanks to all your great critiques concerning my proposed purchase of ensemble, I looked beautifully radiant. I just wish I could show you all in detail. I do have some photos coming from my Godmother who is going to have her older son send a couple to my Inbox she took at the restaurant where we went to celebrate after .I will have to get the church pictures scanned somehow as I had used a disposable camera at the church.
( I am hoping to complete my personal photo gallery at my profile this month sometime as i also want to include a before-pix when I weighed 274 lbs. (my top weight ). though I don't think I have a full-body pix as i was rather camera-shy at that time. I believe it is a head-shot. )
I also want to add that through all of your prayers, thoughts of pure energy, and well wishes, i am feeling MUCH better and I expect to be on here more often now that I feeling stronger.

I AM truly Blessed... Especially to have all of you for my Friends and Good Neighbors !! It was a very sacred and beautiful event. in my journey of life. There were two of us. My best friend, who is a power-wheelchair as she is disabled, and myself, who were summoned to the front of the sanctuary steps.
