Spent 6 hours getting an Iron infusion yesterday 'spposed to help me get over my anemic slump I have been in! They gave me one one grambag & sent me home!
Please tell me this is going to work...

Should work from my expderiencd when my hubby had an iron-anemia crash a few years ago (cured him of his fad diet in a hurry in his case)..... Big hugs and healing purrs.

Friend who does obfusiops says it gets worse before it gets better - hope I am coming out the other end soon... Have had to suspend my Sabbath cupcake deliveries cause I am afraid I will faint in the apartment building hallways what with the COPD & the anemia!

I Heres the good news every magnet will fall for you,the bad news,if your lovely body misbehaves as mine does,the iron will not be used in your system as it should be,so the treatment would be on going as mine is.
I has another bag of the black stuff yesterday,maybne we should drink guiness instead keep a close check on your bloodcount,10-12 is o.k.

Will find out 4/28/14 whether Infusion worked or not. Am taking B Complex & D3 in addition and still feel rundown. Have given up making after dinner cupcakes all together....
Need to find another legal way to reach out to the shutins who waited I their doorways to get their cupcakes....

Iron low but not low enough to elicit infusion treatments.. have decided to take good health a priority so I can get my other stuff together. Dr. says leg cramps not caused by lack of potassium but calcium....
PCP suggests Tums...Anybody else using?? How many per day is reccomended?

I hope all works out for the best for you, NDY!

As for the 'tums", i heard recently that calcium is best absorbed in an acidic system, and as "tums" are an antacid, it defeats the purpose.

Please also know that magnesium is needed along with calcium for it to work right.

You can buy all of these supplements at pretty much any store that sells 'em.

Had a mild heart attack on May 7... ( harassment by apartment manager = too much to take! ) Am going to take calcium citrate - is that good for Gastric Bypass patients to take? Have new appointment on MAY 23 for iron checkup... will keep yall's posted.
