Is there any food you've never eaten, but would at least would like to try? I'd like to try lobster and crab. Never could afford the high prices.

As a vegetarian, my list is somewhat more limited, but I admit: I would like to try a truffle. The fungal kind. Just a little slice of some fancy black or white truffle thing like the fancy chefs use. Just to say I did!

I've some how never had s'mores in all my life. Sadly, the rare times I am near an open flame I'm without the necessary ingredients. One of these days though...

Ah s'mores roasting over a campfire. Such a gooey delicious treat. I have never tried lobster either and would like to but the cost and seeing those "poor things" swimming in a tank, claws tied are a turn off.

I have eaten "all of the above" except the truffle! I keep forgetting when I have the $13 that one small one costs around here, to buy & try it in a recipe as I am sure it wouldn't be good eaten by itself.

I have always wanted to try Abalone... I wonder if 78 lbs or BahamaSun has tried it as they are both "island folk" who live near the ocean... ??

Oh, s'mores.....

I would *love* to also try a real live hoenst-to-goodness fresh-off-the-tree green coconut and drink its water. Friend of ours did that on vacay somewhere tropical and said it makes all other coconut stuff available in stores here just miserably yucky.

Well, I once tried kelp so heck, who knows? I might get to the truffle too someday!

I'm so there.... pineapple mimoasas, green coconuts, and I have NEVER had poi. My FIL went to Hawaii and said it's amazing when done right. So now I have to try poi....

Coconut water directly from the coconut is a delicious treat. I don't remember when last I did that. I have not tried Abalone, but love Whelks.

For me, I would not mind trying roast duck.

What's Whelks? Love macademia nut/white chocolate chip cookies @ Subway restaurants... try it sometime, Leo.
Duck is OK, a bit greasy, I think. Wild duck - never tried it.
Has anyone else eaten wild duck?

Thanks Rosa! That Whelks clip was great! Guess I'll never see those islands or yours... would have been nice. Only saw the ocean up close and personal for one wonderful weekend of my life. It was unbelievably beautiful!
