Yes, and have done, and nada zip zero occurred. DH is always hoping to someday see a full-body apparition, so we end up doing this kind of thing a couple times a year.

I have gone past my bedroom & have seen a depression in the middle of the bed & have fixed the bed and as soon as I get to the door turn and see it there again!

My daughter (27) came flying into the bathroom one day whispering, "Mom! I just saw a shadow going into the bedroom!" Lights have gone on & off by themselves especially when she is here - I told her I think she has a 'Traveling Spook'!

Years ago I lived in an old mining house built above a shaft. A surveyor was out on the dirt road in front of our house. He said that it used to be an old Indian burial ground. That explains the paranormal activity that went on there while we lived there.

One of many examples is when my 5 yr old son came running into the kitchen saying, "Mommy, Mommy - There's a man in my room!" Well I was already standing 4 feet away the only entrance door to the house. I told my son, "You go back up there and shout, "You get out in the Name of Jesus!" He did & the man vanished right before my son's eyes!

I had seen vapor wisps float through the doorway in my kitchen. Things were moved from room to room. Things I couldn't find that I mentioned aloud not being able to find would show up in the middle of the living room floor when I wasn't present in the room, all kinds of things...

I believe in Blessing rooms with Holy Water before you move in and on other occasions. I don't feel threatened by it. It is just a matter-of-fact thing here. And I don't let non believers bother me. Cause, frankly ..I don't care!

I like to say... Too many people have seen too many things too many times for all of them to be crazy! Yup. I am a believer.

NDY, interesting to note, my family's based in a county just north of you, and always stuff going on. I've read that certain geology seems to "hold" that kind of energy better and if you're in the Appalachians (like us!), yeah, things can be kinda everyday.
I hvae NEVER seen anything at a plcae said to be haunted---but otherwise? Yeah. It's just like "Whatever". Science hasnt' explained everything yet, and I've had a few incidents I'd call paranormal, but it's not too scary to me. A few hundred years ago, people thought epilepsy was demon possession! So who knows what we'll know in the future that is "superstition" now?

Down here where I am, no Indian burial mounds---different tribal customs here---but there's places nobody goes cuz everyone knows you just don't step on those (invisible) toes!

Besides I have an instinctive Good Feeling about the one that I am living with. One that has made a choice, perhaps, to stay behind. IDK - I know that IDK WHO & IDK WHY but I am comforted by the Presence of one daily and nightly.

sure would - can't say i've received calls from but for the dead, lol my dad was dead for about 5 years and someone called him. hmm. i thought it was funny, the caller didn't agree. no sense of humor! humph.

went on the 'ghost tour' in st. augustine sadly everyone i saw was had a pulse, the only spirits were in containers carried by others for courage =(

The house I grew up in is haunted...and it sits on a Native American burial ground. Growing up there was at times frightening. I saw doors open when they were latched, cupboard doors open and shut...saw the cloth calendar of my mom's swinging as if there was a big breeze and when I stopped it with my hands I felt it pull away from me and I at 18 went screaming for my mother. My brother Gene who is a man of science will not talk about it and he refused to live there by himself after our mother died. When I was a kid I figured if there were spirits in the house it was proof that there was an after life and I found that comforting...although I too turned down the opportunity to live there by myself.
