I wish I could help you with your question about Cyclophosfamide, but I'm not familiar with it. However, if you are concerned about the regimen you will be on, you might want to ask for a second medical opinion.

Is your surgeon a gyn-oncologist? If not, I recommend that you ask for a consult with one. Be sure that you are comfortable with your doctor and feel comfortable asking him or her about any of your concerns. Otherwise concerns nag at you and the last thing you need is to be concerned about the specific treatment you are receiving.

i'm afraid that I also havent' heard of cyclophosphamide. But are you comfortable with your health team? If so, I would relay your questions to your dr. and make sure you have the answers you need. I'm also on taxol and have run high fevers twice- but continue on it for now-keep us posted-joanne

The hysterectomy was done by a gynocologist who didn't think it was cancer. He referred me to an oncologist, who recruited a gyno-oncologist from out of town for a second opinion. He's the one who wants to do another surgery, but to shrink the tumors first. Apparently he's very skilled.
I was just a bit discouraged because Taxol & Carbo are always the frontline apparently.
I haven't had a realy side effects yet, which makes me think that it's not working.

Just because you do not have bad side effects does not mean it is not working. Count your blessings you are ok and still be able to enjoy your life. Just be sure you feel ok with the medical people who are looking after you. Keep nagging for answers if you have to - its your health. Take care of yourself and let us know of any progress.
