Does anyone have information on he injection you get twice per year, I am currently on Alendronate once per week but I am not improving after a year so they want to use the injection. Has anyone had any side effects from this, thanks in advance!

If you look at older posts there is a lot of information from people about the different drugs.

You can also put your drug into these two web sites and see what patients are saying about it. I think more of the unhappy people post, but it does give you some idea how people have reacted to it.

I have had the Prolia injection for a couple of years now & have finally had an improvement in my bone mass. I do have pain to begin with that goes away after a few weeks. It is very expensive - almost $1k but there is a coupon card available for up to $1k per year.

I had my first injection of Prolia in April off this year and so far, I haven't had any side effects. As a matter of fact, the pain in my back has decreased to where I can use Excedrin to relieve my back pain instead of narcotics.
I was hesitant at first, but so far, no regrets.

Sorry not to reply sooner I have been away, many thanks for the advice think I will go ahead snd gave the injection after giving it some thought, alendronate hadn't helped so have to move on, many thanks again
