I'm 60 years old and on Evista, Raloxifene.
I've already lost several teeth due to bone loss, which i srelated to osteoporosis. But that is not from any of these types of meds. They don't cause bone loss. What they CAN cause is osteoporosisnecrosis, which is different and treatable.

It is a difficult decision, but in my case, having fractures - ankle and spinal - I am opting to take the osteoporosis meds.
I take a specific Calcium supplement in addtion to my multi. It needs to be Calcium wiht Magnesium and Zinc. I also take Vit D (RX strength) and I take Vit K which also helps the calcium absorption
