My wife has been using this device post spinal fusion.
She says it's supposed to progress healing in a much shorter time.

We had looked into it when our little dog broke her leg at 12 years old. It could be put on the outside or inside to electricly stimulate the bone into fusing faster. We did not do it as the pup was too old. I really think it could work. It makes sense.
