Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
I can remember being 16 and having a panic attack in my driveway, very random, because I would have strange thoughts in my head an that sent me into a anxiety/panic about possibly losing my mind.
I kept making my (husband now) boyfriend reassure me that I was not going nuts and that I won't go crazy.
It was an awful feeling that I still live with randomly to this day.
