Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

And I ended up in a situation this year that made it worse than it's ever been. I'm doing my best to pull myself up and out of it. It's been very hard, and I haven't had much support.
It's good that you're going to therapy for it. Are you finding it helpful? Would you recommend therapy?
I hope you can find the extra support you need here.
i have 90 % pure obsessional OCD....
i don't open up to too many people about it because so often when i try to,people say,"Oh,you have OCD,so you wash your hands a lot?"
*sigh*
wish it was better understood-
leaves me feeling lonely and isolated-
Thank God for my therapist.....
Hugs.
