Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
My family never cared, lost friends because of it and had some ex-GFs "run away" in horror when I told them. Imagine what they would have done if we were still dating?!
I have a theory that the higher up you live on the socioeconomic scale, the more people reject you for a psyche disorder. Always seems to me that blue collar people are more likely to have spouses and GFs and BFs stay with them. I think people with certain incomes, education and jobs are more status oriented and too aware of their reputation and therefore make weak friends when really needed. More like fair weather friends. Just a theory.
