Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
Does anyone take any type of exercise supplements along with their ocd meds? I am on anafranil and zoloft and started taking a supplement called THZ, which basically has magnesium, zinc, and B6. All of the research that I have done shows no conflict between these supplements and my meds. I actually have a little less stress but feel like my intrusive thoughts are trying to creeping up more. I know that it has to be all in my head. What do you think?

Your two meds do have interactions and are contraindicated for a couple of reasons. The most important one is they could lead to a wee bit too much serotonin 'sertraline and clomipramine both increase serotonin levels. Serious - Use Alternative' 'sertraline will increase the level or effect of clomipramine by affecting hepatic enzyme CYP2D6 metabolism. Significant - Monitor Closely.
The thing to keep in mind is that despite anafranil being an old med it is the best med out there for OCD if you can tolerate the sides. Talk to your talk to find out why you are on both.
