Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
To be honest I don't know a lot about anxiety but I will try my best to help.you say you are a essential worker what work do you do , at times we all feel scared of catching this nasty viruses so you are not by your self , as for keep checking your temperature all day long I think maybe you are thinking all the time what's going on the side your 4,walls
Maybe if you could find something to take your mind of
things it may help relax could you read a book or watch a film go for a walk and breath in the fresh air .
Even call your friends and talk on the phone that may help
But keep your self busy and look after your self .
