Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
I'm not active on posts that much but I am around and will answer when I can. If you'd like any suggestions or feedback, feel free to ask.
I've been on Dailystrength for maybe two years I think? Not sure.

Is there anybody with some more info about what ocd looks like in a daily life? Are there others out there whose ocd doesn't seem like the typically depicted ocd??
my fears. And when I find something to fear I go into panic mode....sooo mine is a vicious cycle. I also suffer with acid reflux which has some real symptoms that trigger my OCD. So yea ....I just got diagnosed and am trying to understand ....
