Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
First the 'No' part:
There's a genetic component that is involved. A person can't just up and develop it one day.
A person can't develop it from diet(or lack there of) alone.
A person can't develop it from sitting wrong alone. Now for the 'Yes' part: Your not eating right was, probably, what triggered your genetic component to activate. If you hadn't of had that genetic component than you wouldn't have developed it.
Your not sitting right contributes to and exasperates the problem as well. Without the genetic component than your not sitting right and your not eating right wouldn't of done anything so far as your spine goes.
Also, if you can afford it, do physical therapy. If you can't afford a physical therapist than do what you can on your own-it'll help.
I know what I'm talking about because, at one point in my life,I had it.
Best of luck to you!!
