Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
Have you talked to your parents?
As a parent of three grown children I definitely would want my children to tell me.
If someone says your not normal, don't believe that.
Do you mind me asking what your obsessions and compulsions are? I don't want you to feel like you can't talk about them. Talking about it is so important and I've found that keeping everything inside only worsens it. Talking can help to take its power away :)
