Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
However, willingness to fight, patience when setbacks occur, and persistence can lead you to a vastly better quality of life. Or if you prefer another metaphor, think of chipping away little by little at a sculpture till it reveals the you that's possible.
Acceptance is important too because there will be days when you will get knocked down hard. However, it's important to keep striving and not get too high when you are doing well or too low when you have a bad day.

I also heard a song that brought me back to a SUPER tough time tonight, and it made me remember exactly how hard that was! But I didn't let it get to me.

Im getting there today. Had a bad day, but we will have bad days and good days. Im about to go to bed (its 11pm) and wait til tomorrow comes around so that it can be better. (Thats the way you ave to do it sometimes - just wait til tomorrow because its gonna be better, right?)
