Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

Can someone please help me figure out if I have ocd or not? I don't have the kind where I need things to be in perfect order or where I can't have my food touch each other, but I have some form. I'm contantly biting my lower lip till it bleeds and constatnly am picking acne at my body leading to major scarring. It especially gets worse when I'm anxious or depressed...or both. I have compulsing thoughts of worries of things going wrong or things not being perfect. I'm constantly wondering if I'm not good enough or if something is wrong with me. I worry about every sin I make. My biggest fear is not being perfect enough or beautiful enough, or skinny enough. I'm constantly checking to make sure I feel perfect, act perfect, IF EVERYTHING IS FUCKING PERFECT. And then when something isn't perfect or just right... I freak out. I freeze. My anxiety goes through the roof and i get depressed and tired. It makes me not want to do anything even though there are a million different things bugging me. Can someone please tell me what is happening to me? Is this Ocd? it can't just be anxiety. I need some words of wisdom, some advice, honestly i need anything to help me figure out what is up with my brain.

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling so much. It sounds like you're in major distress, and I know some words from some stranger on the Internet don't mean much, but I do want you to know that you ARE enough. You are beautiful enough, you are kind enough, you are talented enough, you are worth enough. Your life is worth something to probably a lot of people, and it's the soul that makes you the most beautiful of anything else about you.
I'm always here and happy to talk if you want. I relate to your feelings, and I just want to offer you my support. I hope you get some answers soon. Or, at the least, find yourself taking steps down a healing path. You're never alone in this. Many many people have OCD. And we can help each other figure it out.
your doctor? A therapist could help you figure out
what treatment is best for whatever you have. See if you
can talk to a therapist. Also go online and get library books
on anxiety and O CD. It might be helpful.
