Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
I made notebooks with magazine photos i pasted into collages, made so many that I was overloaded with them, was obsessed with finding photos, would get into a frenzy of cutting out photos and pasting them, hurriedly so and not thinking much about why I felt the need to. Then I let them collect dust, finally threw them away, I don't know why.
Movies used to, still do affect me so much I'd cry or dwell on them, they were so beautiful and profound, and I felt I could never grasp or hold close enough the feeling, the emotion. It was indescribable the emotions and obsession I felt. I would get anxious, worn out from the emotion.
Maybe you feel so much and is overwhelming or you are obsessing although you like them into anxiety. I try to be more moderate on things i like now.
I was anxious, I felt that I could not control my obsession over it
