Obesity Support Group
This community is dedicated to those of us struggling with obesity. Obesity is thought to be a significant risk factor in certain health conditions, leading to increased mortality. Find the support you need by sharing your story, asking questions, and learning from others on how they have coped.
Have you checked into the welfare options for your state? Or the County or State health clinics? Anyway, I wish you the best. It's not fun feeling tired all the time.
I agree with the others here who recommend finding a way to get some health care and go for a physical and complete blood workup. It's amazing what they can tell just by looking at your blood. Also, I have sleep apnea, and it's not something only obese/fat people get. Not only that, but if you're not getting what they call "restorative" sleep (the kind of deep sleep where your body can make internal repairs)on a regular basis, it can cause weight gain. This is pretty much how I gained a lot of my weight. Anyway, I participated in a sleep lab, where I was monitored while I slept and how many times I woke up per hour, and also what your oxygen saturation level is. I have it, and I was given a machine and a nose mask which uses pressurized air to help keep my airways open while I sleep. I've been on sleep therapy for over a year, and I feel great. I'm also losing weight - not all at once, but little by little. They way I gained it. Sorry for being long winded here, but I felt like I should chime in.
take care and Godbless!
