Hello together, we´re students from Germany. We currently working on a project about stigmatization of people with obesity and we would appreciate honest answers about the following questions:

- Have you ever experienced discrimination? If yes, how did you deal with it?

- What was the most inappropriate designation you were confronted with?

- Which description fits more in your opinion? "People with obesity" or "obese people"?

- If you talk with your family, friends or strangers could you think of a "right and appropriate term" that would describe obesity?

I find you coming on this website and asking questions like that inappropriate,
I have a hard time even logging on here to talk about my problems certainly don't want to answer your questions.

I happen to agree with Voni. This is a support group and we are all private individuals. This site is monitored by medical professionals and maybe you should email them directly. I suggest that you write an article and place it in a online periodical that allows reponse forums. YOu will not need to ask your questions directly, just make a few assumptions and you will get lots of response and you questions will be answered. This is not that forum.
