Hi Rebecca: Welcome and please don't get discouraged. Just eat healthy, excercise, and watch the portion sizes. Eat small meals with protein every 2 or 3 hrs, so you don't get too hungry. I am also an over-eater and it is so easy now adays. This will work for me if I watch the portion sizes. The food choices do matter. I eat more veg than fruit, as fruit has more calories. Drink lots of water and easy on the sweets. The weight will come off, but it is slow, and try to stay motivated. Even with wt loss surg I know a lot of folks who have gained the weight back. The important thing is to work on good eating habits and stick with it. One day at a time. Love yourself thru this process because it is a lifetime change and stay on track as much as possible. Many folks are struggling these days and you are not alone. Too many fast food places, restaurants and wherever we go there is food in our face. Some folks do a food diary, but that never worked for me. Each day is a new day if we mess up and we are only human so as long as their are more good days than bad days we will get there.

I have been overweight most of my life. However, I was 341 - 277- 302 , now I have am going to back to mtoroutine that helped me. I have issues with overeating as well. I stopped buying my trigger foods as well as our prep my meals. Which did ensure that I ate the correct portions. I also did exercises that I enjoyed such as I like to dance so I would just put on music and set a timer for 25 minutes and I will dancing my house or with my kids. I went on to get a Wii Fit and I will use it to dance such as the Michael Jackson game and the dancing games on there. Then I moved on to Zumba you just have to find what's comfortable for you and take notes and take it one day at a time and don't be so hard on yourself.
