hi, I’m britt. I’m 31, I have 4 kids ages 8 and under and I’m 402 pounds as of yesterday. This is the biggest I’ve ever been. I have always been big but always around the 330 range. My best friend died in December and since January I’ve gained a ridiculous amount of weight. I need help or tips on what diet to try and what I can do to feet motivated and moving. I know a lot of it is due to depression which I’ve struggled with my whole life but it’s progressively gotten worse. Please help, I need to stick around for my babies and at this rate I won’t get to. Any help is appreciated. Thank y’all.

Hi Britt: First of all, you are not alone. Lots of us are trying to drop weight. I believe the easiest way is to make it a lifestyle change and not call it a diet. Try to eat healthy, watch the portion sizes and get lots of movement through exercise or activities. Just make little changes, drink water instead of soda, easy on sweets and high calorie foods. Do not exclude foods, but mostly stick to the healthy foods. Just take one day at a time, and be consistent and you will reach your goals!

Hello Britt!!!! Being a mom its not easy at all, you need much energy for the little ones, and give them the best part of you. One of the things you probably want to show to your kids is that you are happy and you can change the things you dislike of your life.
