Thank you rose reminder about size on my depressed post.

I measured my waist, which it's why my clothes, jacket do not fit. My problem area is top/ middle...here is my results..

Waist..66
Today .last of the year..... 69
Gained... 3 inches

I will measure every month.. at least I know where I stand now..feeling better and do have tough work to do.I think I like being patient on this..Am a slow learner. Slow and steady!! :)

This is great that you have your baseline numbers. Hoping that you're able to get to your Doctor's office today to weigh and can establish both weight and measurement so you can monitor your progress!

I need to remember to take all these measurements and record a final weight this week too ;-)

I need to do this too! My biggest spot is around my middle just above my belly button. Should Prolly measure the belly button spot since that's a good way to remember where to put the tape!

Thanks everyone, I'd like to look back on this number in a few months and laugh... or atleast smile from progress happiness!

I am turning a whole new mindset in the new year....Will use tape measure and drop size,inches. I can not use scale to weigh in...anymore. so many people advised me and now I finally listen. I feel much more better and do not want to get back ...feeling a slave to that object that ruin my moods.

It's been a few days w/o a scale and honest , like this feeling. My body,will tell me,Clothes, etc.mirrors.

Lose half my size is my favorite vocabulary..

@Lillianb I totally agree with the scale thing ! My grandma always told me it's not about weight , it's about how your clothes fit.
