Hi everyone....I am 42 years old, weigh 260 lbs...this is the most I have ever weighed....the least being 190 at age 22 right after having my first child...for about the last six to eight months I have been wheezing almost daily and have tightness in my chest...have had pulmonary function test done that says no asthma and no lung problems.,.. One doc says it's acid reflux and the other blames it on the weight,.,. I am scheduled for an upper GI next Friday March 4th....I dont know what they expect to find but as cancer runs in my family and I am a huge hypochondriac I have convinced myself that I have esophageal cancer or some other terrible thing....can anyone give any insight or had the same issues....would be great to hear from someone with same or similar situation,,.,.. Thanks for reading and God bless., .,...oh I also have hashimotos thyroiditis and a very low vitamin d level right now..don't know if those could be related to the wheeze and tightness in chest.,...thanks for any input,,...this is really frustrating,.,..
