I have found that it works best for me if I take one pill per day, usually around 11:00 AM on days off and around 2:30 PM on days that I work (I get off at 4:00 PM). That way, it "kicks in" when I'm ready to get physically active.
I have found that it does cause dry mouth and, for me, if I don't start moving after I take it, it can occasionally make me feel sluggish. The dry mouth I choose to look at as a positive since it makes me drink more water. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I've been taking it now for a little more than three months. I have lost about 16 pounds. I say about because I haven't weighed myself in the last three weeks. I prefer to go on how I feel and how things fit rather than dwell on a number. I'll step on the old scale every now and then out of curiosity, but I try not to make a habit out of that. Ok sorry to stray from topic. When I first started, I also would take only half of a pill, not because the doctor suggested it, but because I'm somewhat scared of pills. I've accepted it now and have been taken a whole pill for several weeks.
Best of luck to you. Ask anything if you want, and I'll try to be helpful if possible!
I was on steroids when I started it so had gained weight from that. Off the steroids now and down to starting weight.
This really has to work....I started a fitness class twice a week too and watching what I eat.
Thanks....maybe a different time of day would work better for me?????
I like the exercise class...one hour mostly chair exercises I can do and some using a chair to balance. Twice a week. Doesn't sound like much even to me but more than I was doing.
