omg, I almost had a major binge eat today. I didnt eat at all until about 11am and that was only mentos. Then I didnt eat util about four pm. After I ate, I had my dessert and we bought my kids some popcorn tins, the decorative ones with different popcorn in them. Well, I had a little and that was all. Later at about 8 pm, I was hungry, so I had a chicken sandwich and some more popcorn. When I thought everyone had went to bed, I started wraping presents. I went and got a bag of chips. Before I could eat them, my husband said " honey, what do you have?" I said "chips." and if it werent for his help, I would have ate the chips and started the binge eating. I am so GLAD!!!!!!!!!! that he helped me. I am starting to notice a difference in how my clothes fit, and how I sleep. I will keep everyone updated on my progress.

It nice that you have your husband's support. My mom is a great support but I must confess I do get upset with her at times when she tells me I shouldn't be eating something. But I guess they are there to help us on our way.

It is nice to have the support of a loved one, but i find it better to have someone outside of the family for support, because i am less likely to be offended when they tell me i dont need it. When a family member does it, it is like a nag because they have done that all my life. Be careful not to starve yourself, because that only leads to bigger binges. I still everyday overeat at one point or another, but the big thing is that im aware and i am trying to make a difference. I have gotten the results of it as well. Good luck with everything, and dont be so hard on yourself.

Thanks, I havent binged yet. I think it is getting easier to not binge eat. I don't starve myself and I still eat what I want, just not so much. Portion control is now my stragity. My husband is my biggest supporter. He helps me with out hurting me. I cant do it with out him.

My co-workers do help me. When I'm eating something I shouldn't one of them will ask me if it is on my diet or if I should be eating that. So I get help there. They all know on Thursday's I weigh in the morning and that I eat alittle extra that day so I often get some goodies from them. But I also need the help at home. I just get upset when I'm hungry and everything I decide to eat my mom or sister will question it or tell me how many calories it has. I do need the help though to make good choices.
