Thanks for your post and remember you are not alone. Wt loss is tough, no matter how much we want to lose.
Please keep your self esteem high. You are the same person regardless of your wt. Don't let your wt get you down....keep positive.
It sounds like you get plenty of excercise and plus work full time.
Keep working on portion control and regular meal times. I have 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. We all know what the healthy foods are.
That is good you quit smoking and you lost a #lb. Slow wt loss is better, try for 1 or 2 lbs per week and you will be on your way to better health.
Please post your journey and this is a lifestye change and we have to have patience.Slow and steady we will meet our goals.
I suggest get a physical and making sure everything is good. Like diabetes, etc. Know your progress.
Bravo on the one pound!! It's a great start ...push yourself ,stay strong!! You can do it!!
I agree, seeing a doctor is an important first step. You need a baseline for your health. And a doctor can also give you a diet to follow if you want one. I found WW to be too liberal, too. I was eating too much junk and not enough protein. A lot of us here are doing low carb, high lean protein. I have lost 26 lbs since September doing that. I was 325 at 5'4. It really is about portion control and moving more. Don't let other people put you down, you can do this and we are here to help. Glad you found us!
